Grand Master of the Year
Dr. Charles Scott martial arts career started in 1964 at the age of 14. He has continued his training for 41 years non-stop. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the International Karate Association, under Soke Kubota. Board of Directors for Global Martial Arts Federation, under Dr. Brownridge. Hojitus Board of Founders, under Professor Jeff Hall. Mr. Scott began teaching in 1970 as the self defense instructor for the Brownridge Institute of Karate in Charleston, Illinois. He has a black belt in Kubodo, Hojitus under Professor Jeff Hall, highest rank for International Karate Association under Soke Kubota, Seventh degree black belt - Gosoku Ryu Karate, Ninth degree black - Shudo Kan Karate, under Dr. Brownridge, fourth degree black belt, Iaido under Master Yamazaki.

Jerry R. Cook
Most Knowledgeable Master of Kung-Fu Styles
Jerry R. Cook started martial arts training in 1971 in junior high school with the study of American boxing and wrestling. In 1973, he studied Shotokan with Master Charles Dixon. In 1974, he trained in Kempo Karate and taught his way through high school, eventually receiving an honorary black belt from the AKKA. In 1980, he studied Aikido under Master John Takagi at Glendale College. Mr. Cook received a black belt in Okinawan Goju Ryu under Master Bob Alvarez. In 1987, he received a black belt under Master Gene Chicoine for Chinese Kung Fu. In 1990, he received black belt in Budo Kan Ju-Jitsu under Dr. Lindsay Anglen. In 1992, he began work with Master Jinheng Li receiving a black belt master status. In 2002, he received a 7th degree black belt in Kajukenbo, a Master Instructor under Professor Ron Pierce in Pierce Family Gung Fu. Mr. Cook also studied with Shaolin Monk, Shi YongKai and Master Xaio in Chen style Tai Chi.
Donald Grose
Outstanding Kung Fu Instructor
In 1982 Don Grose was introduced to Wing Tsun and studied in this system for 10 years under SiFu Robert Jacquet an American disciple of Grand Master Leung Ting of the International Wing Tsun Martial Arts Association. He studied there for 10 years and was promoted to instructor level in 1988 by Grand Master Leung Ting. SiFu Don Grose then relocated to Tucson, AZ after which he was given permission by Grand Master Leung Ting to teach Wing Tsun openly. He continued under this banner for another 3 years where upon he left his position with the IWTMAA and opened his own school under the Tucson Ving Tsun Academy Banner. Since his humble beginnings SiFu Don Grose has made affiliation with groups and schools in 18 countries around the world which evolved into the International Ving Tsun Kung Fu Federation. He is the president of the IVTKFF, Vice President of the European Ving Tsun Kung Fu Federation, Head of the All Indian Wing Chun/Ving Tsun Kung Fu Association. A member of the United States WuShu Kung Fu Federation, the Ving Tsun Athletic Association, Hong Kong, Chairman of the Observation Committee of the International Kung Fu Federation.

Jesse "Ted" Molina
Most Inspiring Martial Artist of the Year
Jesse "Ted" Molina began his martial arts training with Lima Lama while attending college in 1966. Ted also competed from 1986 to 2002 and won many local, state, and national martial arts tournaments and championships. In 2002 Mr. Molina received his Sigung title; 7th degree Black Belt in Kajukenbo and Pierce Family Gung Fu. His good will and integrity are demonstrated in his fondness for teaching martial arts to many. His affiliations to community groups and service affirm a high regard to Mr. Molina by many.
Severiano Felipe Moreno
Combative Arts of the Year
Severiano Felipe Moreno has studied Jujitsu, N'doicho Kugo, Kuk Sool Won, Jukado, Aikijukado, Aikido, Tai Chi Chuan, Wing Chun and Kajukenbo. He received his first degree black belt at the age of 14 in the United States N'doicho Kugo Association under Master Motoaki where he began instructing classes under Chief Master Instructor Thomas Hargous. He received his 5th degree black belt and began teaching combative system that he created called Heiwasensijutsu (The Way of the Peaceful Warrior). He has since started the International Warriors Association which he is dedicated to the instruction of the combative arts.

Joey Burks
Outstanding Martial Artist
Mr. Burks began martial arts at the age of five studying Tae Kwon Do with Mr. Troy Burleson with whom he earned his 1st degree black belt. He has competed in many Tae Kwon Do tournaments winning his fair share of titles. Joey is now receiving instruction under Don Wilhelm and Jerry Williams at Mid-American Mixed Martial Arts where he is pursusing two other belts, one in Kenpo Karate the other in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He has also trained for the past three and half years in American Open Style under Mr. Wilhelm's instruction. Joey is also the Student Instructor at Mid-American Mixed Martial Arts.
Troy Holton
Most Distinguished Master
Troy Holton began his journey into martial arts in 1985 under the guidance of Troy Burleson and Randy Edwards of Harrison, Arkansas in the style of TaeKwonDo. Under C.L. Bergeron Troy began his focus and attention on instruction in martial arts to other students. After training with Mr. Bergeron for many years, he began instructing Kenpo Karate and Koushu Sanshou Kung Fu under the Guidance of Grand Master Rhuell Luttrell. Troy is currently an instructor with Rhuell Luttrell's school "The Academy of Self Defense and Karate" in Harrison, Arkansas. He is a member of the Board at The Academy of Self Defense and Karate. Troy received his 6th Degree Black Belt in Shotokan Karate and Koushu Sanshou Kung Fu in July of 2005.
Henry Deon Moser
Martial Artist of the Year
Henry Deon Moser's diverse background in different martial arts allowed him to achieve his black belt in three styles when he finally setteled in Harrison, Arkansas and was introduced to Si Gung Rhuel D. Luttrell. Deon finally earned his black belt, from Si Gung Luttrell, in Chinese Kenpo, WuShu KungFu and Kuoshu Sanshou fighting in 2004. He has also received his black belt in Combat Crane Technology in June from the World Wide Association of Cane Warriors, endorsed by Founder and Director Richard Scott and Administer Henry Rudolph along with Si Gung Rhuel D. Luttrell.

Kenpo Instructor of the Year
Jerry Williams began his study of martial arts in the summer of 1985. He holds the rank of Sifu — 3rd degree black belt in Chinese Kenpo-Wu Shu Kung Fu, a 3rd degree black belt in Shotokan, a 1st degree in Kuoshu Sanshou Combat fighting, a 1st degree in Shito-Ryu, and a black belt in Combat Cane Fighting. Mr. Williams is still under the guidance of Grand Master Rhuell Luttrell, and is teaching as the Senior Instructor at Mid-American Mixed Martial Arts just north of Branson, Missouri.

Derrik Carter
TKD Coach of the Year
Derrik Carter began studying martial arts in 1975. He has studied Shotokan, Kenpo, and Taekwondo. During his competition career he has won numerous tournaments as well as 2 State Championships. This October he will be competing in the USA Taekwondo National Championships. His proudest achievement is that in 2 years he has taken students with no tournament experience and turned all of them into State Champions and several are now nationally ranked competitors. Mr. Carter is a Level 2 Nationally Certified Coach for Taekwondo as well as a certified referee with the AAU and USA Taekwondo.
Theodore J. Celeste
Kung Fu Instructor of the Year
Theodore Celeste started his training in the martial arts at the age of ten under his grandfather Justin Elgal in the arts of Escrima, boxing and Jujitsu. He has also received a black belt in Chi Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do under Master Ramon Tirona, He holds Sifu status and certification in the Tibetan White Crane system under Dr. John Cole and Wing Chun certification under Eddie Chong. At present, Dr. Celeste has his private practice in Elk Grove, California where he specializes in post operative rehabilitation and pain management. He is also active in the Elk Grove community teaching White Crane Gung Fu, Tae Kwon Do and Wing Chun.
Rowdy D. Hall
Founder of the Year
Rowdy Hall is the founder of Koshiden-Ryu JuJutsu. He has also studied Hakko-Ryu JuJutsu, Seibukan Jujutsu, Shinkendo, Aikibujutsu and Aikido. He is a member of the International Shinkendo Federation. He resides in Morgan Hill California where he continues to train and teach his art.
David M. Morizot

David Moizot is a 6th degree black belt in Kensho Washr Kung Fu. He has studied styles in Tae Kwon Do, Northern Eagle Claw Kung Fu and is a member of Screen Actors Guild, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the World Stunt Awards. He has received several awards from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. He continues to train and teach the Martial Arts.

Grandmaster Ronald Pierce brings 47 years of Martial Arts experience in many diverse arts. Pierce Family Gung Fu is the personal art of Grandmaster Ronald Pierce and was co-founded with Professor Bob Suttles and Professor Jerry Cook. Pierce Family Gung Fu is comprised of forms and techniques, which are thousands of years old, adapted for modern day use. Sensei Villalobos currently holds a 6th Dan in Seito Shito Ryu. He has also studied Shoto Kan. He is a member of Shito Ryu International Karate Do Kai. Christopher Greene began his career in the martial arts over ten years ago and has achieved the rank 4th degree Black Belt in Konigun Ninjutsu. He has instructed students in Tennessee, Florida, and Mississippi where he is the Chief Marketing Officer of Ninjutsu Meiyo Kai. He is also a certified Instructor of Technical Effective Defense. Humberto Lopez began his Martial Arts career in 1967. He holds the position of Secretary for the Pan American Judo Union for coaching, certification and education. He is Head Coach for the U.S. Junior National Judo Team and currently taem leader and manager for the 2005 World Judo Championship in Cairo, Egypt in September, 2005. Mr. Goodner has over 21 years experience training in the Bujinkan system. In 1991 he moved to Japan and became a personal student of Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi. He received his Shidoshi teaching license and returned to the US in 1997. He then founded the Bujinkan Raiken Dojo in order to assist in Dr. Hatsumi's mission to teach the heart of Japanese martial arts to the world. Today Shihan Goodner holds the prestigious Ju-ichidan (11th Dan) rank making him one of a small handful of martial artists across the world to receive any rank above Judan.

He has studied the art of Shinkendo Japanese Swordsmanship, Kokusai Toyama Ryurenmei, Aikido and Aikibujutsu Tanren Kenkuykai, under the founder Soke Toshihiro Obata. He was the first African American Instructor within the organization and the first to receive the title Kyoshi. His Shinkendo rank is 5th Dan. Toyama Ryu 2nd dan, Batto- Do 2nd dan. Mr. Dan Embree has been involved in martial arts for 27 years. He owns and operates The Idaho Self-Defense Center, Inc. Mr. Embree holds a 4th Degree Black Belt in Ryukyu Kempo. He also has a 2nd Begree in Tang Soo Do and Hapkido, 2nd Degree in Kenpo Karate and a brown belt in Aikido. He is a member of Dillman International Karate and Ada County Sheriff's Youth Foundation.

Clint Chapman started his martial arts training at the age of six, under Grand Master Bob Golden. Bruce is currently the head instructor of the Black Dragon Isshin Ryu Karate School in Clinton. He is also a certified Executive Protection Specialist and a former Deputy Sheriff of the Year for the state of Illinois.

In 1998 he opened up his own school The Combat Sport Karate Club. Having started in martial arts training in the style of Shotokan, Chito Ryu Karate in 1981. Rick began training TaeKwonDo in 1985 and achieved 2nd degree black belt in 1990. He then began his study of Ryu Kyu Kempo and is presently a 5th degree black belt in this style. Rick is a member of Kyusko International and is co-owner, as well as Master Instructor of Premier Martial Arts located in Florence, KY. Rick also instructs Homeland Security agents in Cincinnati in self defense pressure point tactics. Richard "Dick" Burrow started American Kenpo with the late Ed Parker back in 1959 where he later earned his black belt. Dick had taught many martial artists like Professor Robert Suttles, Grand Master Ron Pierce, Sigung OJ Guerra, Sigung Ted Molina and Grand Master Miguel Garcia of the White Tiger Kung Fu. He had also taught the US Military Special Forces, US Navy Seals and USMC Recon Rangers. Dick passed away on April 6, 2002 at the age of 62 from Cancer, just prior to his death; he was promoted to Grand Mastership in the art of JKD from Steve Golden and the JKD Nucleus. GM Burrows touched many lives and will always be remembered as a Legend.

Mr. Hall began the Martial Arts with Shihan Charles Scott in 1982 in Shudo-Kan Karate. He also holds a Sandan from Grandmaster Yamazaki. He has trained in Boxing, Judo, Jujitsu and Kobudojitsu. He is a Hand Gun Master, NRA Distinguished Master, Master of Firearms and Defensive Tactics Instructor. He was awarded Soke of Shooting, 10th Dan this July 2005.

Glenn Fox holds the rank of 5th degree Black Belt in TaeKwonDo. He is a member of the Unified TaeKwonDo International. He owns and operates Fox TaeKwonDo Schools which has grown to 11 schools in central Alberta. Competitively, Mr. Fox has been the Canadian Heavy Weight Sparring Champion and the Canadian Black Belt Forms Champion. He has represented Canada on the international scene as 2 times World Forms Champion. He was also Team Canada Coach for the World Championships in the Netherlands in 2000 and in Miami Florida in 2002, placing members on the podium both times.

Juan Pablo Menéndez has experience in a variety of martial art styles including Brazilian, Japanese, and American or blended Jujitsu styles including Jodoryu Jujitsu and Gracie Jujitsu, Kyusho Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Ryukyu Kempo-Jodoryu Karate, Kung Fu, Chi Kung & Jeet Kune Do. Serena is a student of Professor Marty Cale, she earned her Black Belt in 2001 and continues to train in White Tiger Kenpo Karate. She has also studied TaeKwonDo and was the first female Black Belt Champion in the Arkansas State Martial Arts Circuit. She has won numerous tournaments in Kata, Kumite, weapons and Musical Weapons. She also trains in Kickboxing and the Sword.

JaVarez DaShonn, JD as he likes to be called started the Martial Arts at the age of 6. He has given back to the community by doing demos at nursing homes and homeless shelters. He has also helped in many fund raisers to provide money for under privileged students to attend camps, seminars, testing and competition tournaments. Quincy L. Jones
Jr. Shinkendo Instructor of the Year
Quincy started the martial arts at the age of 9. Two years later he made history on the last day of black history month. He made history by becoming the 1st young Afro-American to cut with a live sword in the art of Shinkendo. He is Hyaku-e in the art of Shinkendo and holds an Instructors license. He also holds a Black Belt in Toyama Ryu. He holds a 3rd kyu in Aikido and Aikibujitsu. In Kyudo he also holds rank. The highlight of his training was when he got to do a cut in front of Founder Toshishiro Obata and other high ranking instructors. This cut gave him his Instructors License in Shinkendo.

Zachary began studying the martial arts at the age of seven. He holds the rank of 2nd degree Black Belt in Jujitsu and Karate as well as a 1st degree black belt in Kinjitsu. He helps to assist in classes at his dojo in Florissant Missouri. He enjoys training with the Sword and learning different types of martial arts.
